Alright... coretemps has me idling at 38C after I unplugged that gawdawful loud fan in back... I'll have to swing by Fry's and get a quiet one if I cant find anything in the stack. It's an old case, and the fans are loudish... but that back one!

Looks like the benchie was right... hmmm.... let's go into that BIOS 'nStuff...

Have a good read, and it's got some detailed info on how to set the bios etc.

I'm not even sure the Freezone would cool a quad core good enough to hit 4GHz, Even with the 175w cooling capacity.

No time machine on standby unfortunately. I'm watching the movie The Time Machine on TNT that was made in 2002, The lead character has discovered the Moor Locks, Now He has to figure out how to destroy them.

I'm running mine at 333Mhz right now... following the advice over at that C2D OC thread at Hexus...

I wonder if I spread that Arctic Silver correctly... Hmmm... that Tuniq Tower is a PAIN to install, so I hesitate to go back and try again. Is this kind of temp spread normal? When installing the TT 120, how compressed to I make the little springs? The directions said to NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS!!!! ... or assumedly Gordon Brown will make another speech or something drastic like that. But I sure want to crank those things down another notch; even if it's only the top two screws.
