nonono..get a x2 3600 and 6100 or better miniatx. the result is an easy..welll if u get the tforce ull do very good if u cheap out maybe 2.5-2.7 out of it?
cool thing with am2 is that a decent mobo dont cost an arm and a leg

crap i didnt read the reusing part...hmm...if u want to keep agp and ddr...then 4coredual mobo and 4300 or agp and asrock...sata2 or soemthing with a x2 3600

I agree, x2 3600+'s have been known to OC up to 3.0 GHz. on Stock cooling, with the right mobo. and RAM. As for the sempron 3300+, it will be a nice upgrade from what you currently have, but it is really old tech., and might even be discontinued, the 3600+ is, IMO, the best bang for buck for AMD right now.

i saw one for 40 shipped at anand, so u need just the mobo

altough id go with the tforce

cant beat that open box price. the 3600 has a 8.5 multi i think so if u get 300 thats like 2.55 and if u get 350 tahts like 3 gigerz

For cheap, you can't really beat your quoted prices. If you want to squeeze more life out of your system try this board:
