Monitor decision

I have about $300ish to spend on a monitor. I'm looking mainly to watch movies and, later, to play console games.

Here's what I'm looking at right now:

Then from Samsung (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...19996&name=Yes) I'm looking at the 216BW, 206BW, 225BW and 226BW. As far as the Samsungs are concerned, I'm not sure which of those is the best bang for the buck (ie whether the 226BW is worth the extra $60 over the 216BW).

And finally the Dell (not an ultrasharp, I know, I simply can't afford an ultrasharp unless I get a refurb of the 20", which is not out of the question, but I can't afford a new one):

Don't buy a monitor without seeing it in action.

It's difficult for me to get to a brick and mortar store, and I doubt I'd be able to find one that carries such a wide selection of monitors. Plus I won't be able to find these deals at brick and mortar stores.

I understand the reasoning behind not buying it without looking at it, but I'm going to have to rely on what other people think of these choices.

refurbished 22" viewsonic at fry's

i grabbed one of these a few months back. 1 stuck pixel (green) about 1/4" in from the left side. awesome monitor imo. definitely best bang for your buck. unfortunately it looks like thay are out of stock right now. they get back in pretty quick. when my 19" rosewill took a dive i went to fry's for a samsung 205bw. great picture as well but it looks puny sitting next to the 22". my .02

I just realized my laptop doesn't have a DVI out, only VGA. Will that pose a problem?

There's a VGA port and VGA cable with the 226BW.

One last question (sorry), as far as playing movies and web browsing (probably not games) will my ATI Mobility Radeon X600SE (256MB) be able to support these resolutions?
