How about a simple post on how to join Spinhenge?

First go to BOINC and get the BOINC client:

    http://boinc.berkeley.edu/

Download and install that program... during the install it will ask you which project you wish to join, here's the address that you enter for Spinhenge:

    http://spin.fh-bielefeld.de/

Now join the Killer Frogs' team by going to our stats page and clicking on "Join Team":

    http://spin.fh-bielefeld.de/team_dis...hp?teamid=1071

Last week we were in 40th place overall and in RAC... today we are in 31st overall and 7th in RAC.

C'mon in and play, let's see how far up the stats we can make it in one month!

Anyone got any work for a Linux box yet? I just connected and it says there's no work for my platform, but there's work for others.

If I may be so presumptuous to ask.. When is the LINUX version for Spinhenge to arrive? 'Cause I have some fellow Teammembers who are eager to crunch Spinhenge BIG-time but can only do so if Linux version is available..
    Thanks in advance for answering

First we have to implement the checkpointing. If it works fine, we will release a LINUX version of our app. But I can't say when the linux version come out. But I think we can do this in a few weeks. So please wait. We will post it in the news if we release a linux version.
