I wonder if that had anything to do with Eric Clapton's Crossroads Concerts, at least the one a few years ago in Dallas. I say that because on the DVD (which is absolutely awesome for anyone who loves electric guitar - what a lineup of musicians, and with great views at times of their fingering; the segment with Steve Vai is almost worth the cost of the DVD) they very clearly advertised how AMD Opteron-based computers were used to record the concert. There were a number of AMD advertisments visible during the concert if I recall correctly.

That is a "kiddie" guitar. Pretty much a glorified "air" guitar.
It's based on a Gibson Explorer.
The one I posted is the real deal.
