the clock is champ with the a64's. back in the day with socket a's the opposite was true. that's why there are all the dividers.

Yep, In A64/Opteron land dividers rule, Elsewhere I had to unlearn that to overclock to a point.

so i think im at the limit here.... the motherboard's limit that is....
oh well, i did gain a 50% clock increase
in all what it means is that i lowered my superpi time by ten seconds
i wish there was mor i could do ...

i would guess you have a much faster system than you had.

if your bored, you could work on the clockgen oc and boot at the 133 divider and push things to around that 310 htt. if you leave your rig running all the time, who's to know.

it looks like your cpu, ignoring the board limits, max is around 2800mhz. that's what i get out of my 170. i see no reason that the vs couldn't run at 210fsb or abouts at cas 3.

I think your test confirms, CPU!!!!

    Congrats, way to persevere.
I suggest no more voltage to memory because historically VS doesn't take well to Voltage (or overclocking) and we were not up to it's rated speed anyway. Now is the time to mess with it to see if you can get the cpu to 2.7 at 133. Prepare for another bios reset (When you can do it in your sleep you will be a certified overclocker )
