Nvidia has released a new driver for Linux - if you have a "non-legacy" card, it installed far better - and worked on 1st install w/out any adustments necessary - also increased framerates on my 8600GTS.

Thanks Jackal. That's the one thing that gets left behind on my computers since Gentoo (as do many distros) don't have the Nvidia drivers in the package management system. Hence we need to keep an eye on them manually.
