My 1055T OCed better then the 1065T. The NB would do around 2800 while the 1065 I couldn't get passed defaults. I lost the 1055T due to RMA, I think it was infected by CPU flash virus and RMAed it and amd sent me 1065 T

Last March I bought a 960T 4-core 3.0 for my son's rig. Unlocked it to a 6-core "1600T" at 3.6. That worked out well.

I have an Athlon x3 in 2nd computer, I think it can be unlocked, but usually its a hit and miss thing with that, all about if you get lucky. I don't even bother trying to unlock 4th core.
