Boy, the new patch sure made using the cover perk a necessity. I was having that PB kick problem, I manually updated, rebooted my rig and haven't been kicked since. Still trying to figure if the game is better or worse after patch, most aggrivating game i've ever played, gets me pissed like nothing else.

Supposed to offset suppression. So I seem to be having a big frame rate issue. Sli 460 oc high settings my frames were all over the place yesterday. Going from 75 to 2 and seesawing beach and . Ping was low 30 and cards were maxing at 980 on memory.lowered to med settings and no change. Gonna try some different servers today to see if that was issue

Don't think you're the only one with framerate wackiness, mine have been up and down, and I think Odoggy had problems, too.

i stopped playing this for a few months. came back after the patch and im still wondering wtf happened to this game.

id ont' remember it being this bad before i took a break from it.

getting shot around corners, through walls, and all sorts of wierd crap is worse than it ever was before.

or maybe i just forgot how bad this game was..... thats a possibility.

That's pretty much how it was when I last played it. Sort of reminds me of a Looney Tunes cartoon style of play.

The server lag issue has been around since BC2. It's just a problem in the Frostbite engine. I guess people just accept it but it's the single most annoying thing about both games to me. However overall I still enjoy playing BF3.

Wow. It took them this long to fix such an annoying, simple, and gigantic bug?! Maybe I'll load up the game again, as the last time some guy riding around on a MAV robot shot me from above was the last time I had any desire to play such a "realistic" game as BF3.

MAV elevatoring fix, round 2; proning on the MAV will now disable it

    Better late than never?

Whats the big deal? Its a bug, its not like they added it in for the "realism" FFS. I'm happy they're finally fixing it but to pretend that MAV riding is/was a game breaker is just ridiculous.

    Re: Battlefield 3

I've been getting little pop-ups to buy more stuff on BF3. Too bad they never do anything when I click on them.

First it was for more kits, then unlocks. Now EA is offering to unlock all classes for almost $40. What?!?

Even though I had bought the "limited edition" pre-order before it was released, I didn't really get into the game until a few months ago. True, it's sometimes a bit discouraging when you get taken down by more experienced players with better weapons....

But isn't the whole point of having unlocks so you can "earn" them? In COD's first modern warfare I used to start from scratch as I loved unlocking gadgets...

What is the world coming to?

    Q9300 with 4 GB DDR2 1066 RAM
UltraSharp 2408WFP (needs to be RMA'ed) on GeForce GTX 285 on two 18 amp 12V lines
    Audigy X-Fi Fatal1ty w/ Logitech Z-5500 & Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and HD 595
plus the usual stuff in a poorly designed Antec P180 PW case

    Re: Battlefield 3

Everyone should have all guns from the start, but I'm a level playing field kind of guy, some people are the "I want the people who can't play video games all day to be punished while I grind and get an unfair advantage over possibly more skilled players" kind of guys.

Seems most games favor the latter.
    Corsair 800D / Corsair TX750 PSU
    ASUS Sabertooth P67 / Win7 Pro
    Intel i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz (45 x 100) + Corsair H100
    Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600
    SB X-Fi Xtreme Music + Steelseries 5H V2
    XFX 6950 2gb (6970 bios) / 2 x 25.5" Asus VW266H 1920x1200
    Intel X25-M G2 80GB OS + 2 x 1TB WD Caviar Black
