Battlefield 3's open beta starts on Thursday, Sept. 29
    http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield3/1/beta

If you pre-order the PC digitial version of Battlefield 3 on EA's Origin store before Sept. 25, or if you bought Medal of Honor: Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition, you will get 48 hours early access to the Beta, meaning you can start playing Tuesday, Sept 27.

Now for the bad news: The beta map will be Operation Metro map playing the game's Rush mode. So that means that we will have to wait till release day before we get to experience 64 player map greatness.

I dont mind the fact that its the same map. I am disappointed that its the same mode and the same map thus only 32 players.
They could have given us Op Metro but the conquest mode and 64 player map.
We dont even get to practice using all the vehicles, tanks, jets, choppers.

Hopefully this time around 99% of the rounds wont end before a single point is captured.

The second half of the map is the most visually stunning once you get to the city after you go through the subway area.

I want some decent team balancing. AI switching people over to other sides if necessary.

I thought the recommended card was GTX460 1GB or better, not 560. Well it better run nice with my 2 460's or i'll be very upset.

It had better run well on a single 460 or there are going to be a lot of unhappy gamers.
