Which one is better?

Out of the following two which one would have better performance?

Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core (8MB L2 cache, 2.4GHz,1066 FSB)
and
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6750 (2MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1333 FSB)

That would realy depend apon what program your running . What kind of programs do you want to run ? If it games then c I would go with the e6750 ,

since you didnt ention anything the dual core because of price/power needs altough id sugest the e6550

in my opinion, for the here and now, the E6750 would be the best bet, but for the future, i suggest the Quad 6600

Well, I suggest you to have Q6600 Quad core. I am just telling you my preference. Hope it will be good for you too.
