As Ryan said, in his 8800gt review, it's a great time to be a pc gamer. ATi has a great price scheme. Let's hope it's not half the performance. I am hoping the lower clock speed also means lower heat, less noise, and performance not too far behind the GT.

Have you guys seen the pefromance numbers posted at VR-Zone. They have supposed "AMD Internal Performance" charts up comparing the 3870 with the 2900XT, graphs are whacked though the way there presented. Make sure you read the numbers and not just look at the bar graph .....

I like the pricing. If performance id mid-range and better than the 86xx cards, it might a good consideration.
