    Bah! It looks like I'll not be getting either card now for a while. Our stupid clothes dryer couldn't have picked a worse time to go out.

    C'mon Ati, get in there! I love my x1950xtx but I really wish that the Catalyst software was like Nvidias' with their game profiles already set-up.

    Some of us game in the nude, so the lack of clean clothes is a non-issue

    As Ryan said, in his 8800gt review, it's a great time to be a pc gamer. ATi has a great price scheme. Let's hope it's not half the performance. I am hoping the lower clock speed also means lower heat, less noise, and performance not too far behind the GT.

    Have you guys seen the pefromance numbers posted at VR-Zone. They have supposed "AMD Internal Performance" charts up comparing the 3870 with the 2900XT, graphs are whacked though the way there presented. Make sure you read the numbers and not just look at the bar graph .....

    Those are terrible graphs. Plus, it would be nice to see comparisons to 8800 cards, especially the 8800gt. I'm sure those will be coming soon, however.

    I believe the lack of comparisons to the 8800gt is deliberate
    I like the pricing. If performance id mid-range and better than the 86xx cards, it might a good consideration.
