    What's a Fair Price For an evga7950gx2

i'm debating selling my evga 7950 gx2. usually when i sell something i look online for what others are charging and go with that. i'm having a hard time finding a card by evga for sale, used or new. well i saw one on amazon... that's about it.

any ideas what a fair price would be?

i'd guess used fair price would be, let's say for arguments sake, 375. that seems high considering the prices of the 8800's. i wonder if anyone would even pay that. but it seems there are so few of these cards for sale. did they make very little of them? or people don't want to sell them? or are they obsolete?

for basically and sli 7950, there was nothing wrong with them. quite a bit of horsepower. i'd take one over any radeon out there today and most 8800s. i remember the 3dfx 5500..kind of an oddball card in it's time, but i've seen them go for a bundle on ebay with collectors and no, i don't think there will be many of these around..the problem? you're going to probably have to put it in a closet for 10 years to see the value down the road. i was going to say about 400 used..that's more than 25% off which if the card is in excellent shape is probably fair.

I see them being sold on ebay for 200$. Sure its a rare card, but its performance can be bought for 200$. I mean, would anyone in their right mind pay 800$ for a 800Ultra these days? Unless the GX2 has bonus features like the X1900AIW, i dont think most ppl are gonna pay top dollar for it. Still, its possible someone would, but youd have to look really hard.

would i pay 200 bucks for 2 7950 cards to run in sli (if that's what i wanted to do?) sure..i'd pay 300 for 2 matter of fact. you've got a gig of bandwidth..any other value is really "collectible" value, if indeed they end up being collectible.

$200 tops, maybe less. sure they arn't exactly all over the place but the performance doesn't justify any more then that.
