Team Fortress 2 still has my attention. I'm having a blast.
I voted for it because of staying power.

Why not rename it to "Shooter of the Month"?

I know it seems that way but Oblivion did win .. once I thought Supreme Commander got close one month as well. I guess that's just what everyone plays around here.

Yea, I agree. It is what people here play

I guess it's fair since it's obviously GOTM for this forum. I just get tired of people who only play shooters debating what the "game of <whatever time period>" is. Not to mention those that claim PC gaming is dying, despite the fact other genres, many of them older than shooters, are doing fine.

Crysis for me, I've retarted it several times just to wander around the beautiful island. The game may not have the best ending but as a visual spectical it is just amazing.

I havnt played COD4's multiplayer yet, but playing in single player mode is starting to make me regret my purchase. Crysis has my vote for this month but from what i hear next month i might be voting for COD4 because supposedly COD4's multi is much better than Crysis.

I guess mine is for Hellgate as well. I play a lot of games, but not one single one enough right now to stand out.

I do wish they'd fix more bugs so I could say it proudly:

And these are both NPCs. One was supposed to replace the other. Didn't quite work out.

finally we are only voting for one

I voted for COD4 only because when i'm home it's the only SP game i'm currently playing. Haven't had time to try the MP yet

oh yeah, good one buu, forgot about portal.

i don't much care for cod4. it's cod2 in the preseant day. graphics are nearly identical as far as quality goes.

i voted crysis because it looks spectacular, and replay value is like no other sp game i've ever owned.
