    What exactly do you mean by small....are you referring to the physical size? I use a Shuttle system which is a lot smaller than your average desktop. I don't believe there is an option to buy it pre-installed, but the installation process for any standard hardware is pretty easy. If you purchase a barebones system you have the option to choose your components to ensure they are linux-friendly.

    If by small you mean really small....as in a system that uses laptop components in a semi-desktop case (sometimes called ultra small formfactor)....again I think you'd need to install it yourself.

    For downright tiny....linux absolutely leads the market in imbedded systems, where your entire 'computer' might be the size of a couple books. These systems tend to not be powerful enough for a traditional computer...and instead serve specific purposes.
