    sorry to leave you hanging, but I had to do some running around before the ice storm tonight.
    Since you can get to bios now, start adding hardware back one thing per boot until it locks up again. ram then boot drive then secondary drive saving any usb until the end.

    i got it to work for like 3 days, then it came up with the same problem

    What did you do to get it working?

    If you need to reset the BIOS again it may be you have a bad battery, or perhaps something else is messing up your settings and causing the problems. Check for bulging, or leaking capacitors. Also may be an issue with the PSU going bad or memory problems.

    there is no bulging or leaking, so should i just assume its a memory or psu problem.
