    Welcome to Cosmology

    Hello all,

Been waiting here patiently to get blown away buy the quads........

I see many have started to switch over already, you early dawgs.

Get ready for some big numbers, and enjoy the ride.

Edit: Optimized apps will not help you here, the stock client works just fine. It's a fixed 100pt per wu credit allowance. So I switched back to the latest stock client and have had 0 problems. And for an idea of what to expect, my XPM2600 at 2500mhz is getting over 650 ppd, so old machines do very well here.

Are you suggesting we uninstall the clients, or is it just fine to leave them??

    LOL, quoted from Cosmology's site:

At this point the project is in the testing and developing phase and has not yet been launched officially. In fact there are no links to this page other than those created by people who found our test implementation looking for BOINC projects on the central server or using search engines such as Google.
Yeah, I confess. I Googled it.

    Re: Welcome to Cosmology

You might be able use the optimized clients, but they will not improve your score's.

Might as well try them, I seem to remember having some problems with them, but that was when the camb app was using a windows wrapper to run, and has since been replaced with a stand alone app, so it may work now......

Don't know for sure.... let us all know!

EDIT: This project is still in beta, but only encountered 1 problem when the whole server crashed about a month ago, was back up in 4 days with brand new equipment, and nary a problem since.
