2007 Game of the Year - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I thought it would be fun to have a simple poll where you can vote for your favorite game of 2007. You get just ONE vote so choose wisely

The games are listed alphabetically in the poll.

As always you can vote OTHER if your game isn't in the list but if you do please post which game you are voting for. I will tally the OTHER votes in this first post below.

I have to vote for Battlefield 2142. It is easily the game I played the most and had the most fun with in 2007.

Went with CoD4 because I had so much fun with the PC version I got it for the 360 and I'm having a blast. Most of my buddies don't have desktops and just carry around laptops like they are important so they don't do much PC gaming. But with the easy use of voice com on the 360 we're all having a great time ranking up and owning noobs.

I voted for Crysis. No shooter this year was able to do what Crysis did while other games like CoD4 is just more of the same.

Bioshock for single player game. Call of duty 4 for multiplayer.
I think Crysis is highly overrated because the gameplay is too short (finished single play under 10 hours) and lousy performance (on any card).

Crysis feels too much like Far Cry. I went with UT3 even though that wasn't overly impressive either.

The performance will be solved with patch.

Since it took over 1000 hours of my life from me (as well as 600 on BF2142) I have to vote for Battlefield 2. Retired now from it, currently working on several single player games that I've had for a while (Bioshock, HL2 EP2 and Crysis to name three)

Re: 2007 Game of the Year VOTE

Hmm now this is a tough one. Played many hours of BF2142 (the wife might say too many and loved it. Loved the single player Bioshock and I now seem to be hooked on COD4. Plus through in some slash and shoot goodness of Hellgate London.. Man what a decision

Well had to vote for BF2142 since that took up most of the year. On to January and COD4

COD4 being ahead in the poll reminded me that I was long overdue to try the single player demo. Wow, very impressive game. No shortage of action and extremely immersive gameplay. I can see why you guys like it.

LOL had to vote for crysis as it is the only game I own and so far my 13 yr old beats the hell out of me

I went with COD4 becuse both the single player and mp are very good. Also the shoot though the wall thing is cool too (I found myself trying to do that in crysis )
