Won't make it right away, but should be there shortly after 8.
Got to do a few things here first.
I was wondering the same thing.public server TBD (IP will be posted in thread at game time)
The idea is for everyone to get on TeamSpeak and someone picks a server then posts the IP in the thread.

^^ Unless someone has suggestions for a better way. The problems is that COD4 doesn't have a buddy tracking system like BF2142 so we need another way to follow each other around. Of course there is always Xfire. We can start using that regularly again.

i got on xfire and added everyone from the sticky, i thought it was pretty easy to right click on ctunit in exfire and join the game that way
I tried to get in on the fun, but it just ain't happening. I finally was able to connect but only with the graphic at 800x600 max. If I tried to run it any higher I crashed to desktop with a Directx error. I dl'ed the DX9.00c from M$ and re-installed (I already had it installed, but what the heck!). Still crashed. I went to Nvidia and re-dl'ed the 169.21 driver (again, it was already installed), re-installed the drivers, etc., and it still crashed.
The only thing I can think of is that the original installation of COD4 was bad. I installed it using the 'new' flaky Lite-On dvd drive. The Pioneer replacement is due to arrive tomorrow. I'll re-install the game tomorrow night.![]()
I'm gonna attempt to be there on Wednesday. I have my new 3850 and COD4scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. I will try to install both and join in.

I got my new burner installed last night. Un-installed and re-installed COD4 and the 1.4 patch. Started up the game and was able to set the graphics in options without crashing to desktop. I don't know what happened, but from my experience (and what I've seen in other peeps reviews) stay away from the latest crop of Lite-On burners. The Pioneer is fast and quiet.
Did you hear me soldier!
Drop and give me ten!!!!!
My Lite-on seems to be working ok for me but it's a bit older now. Not sure exactly when I bought it, maybe a year ago.

I've got a couple of Lite-On's in my other systems. Like yours, they are older, and they are extemely reliable. That's why I went with the a Lite-On to replace my BenQ when if failed. Seems that the latest batch of Lite-On's are very noisy, the trays are jerky, and they are totally unreliable in writing and reading.
