My VNF3-250 is still going strong!

I have to say I got lucky and friend that needed a newer PC did too.

My little s754 A64 Venice found a home with a friend of mine who just needed a newer PC to help him get by and so I sold him mine for $300.

I Put the overclock down to 2.4ghz since his room stays warm and some of the case fans were removed, he seems very happy with it considering he is coming from a AthlonXP.
He was also using a 9700Pro Radeon, so with the 3850 he is getting a big upgrade.

Now I have to decide what I'm gonna build... I'm looking at the e8400, q6600 right now and was very tempted by the q9550 even.

But the Core i7 is out and the i7 920 looks like a little monster!!

This is a very hard choice.

What a great board that was. Simple but OCed great and rock solid My Brother inlaw still has the one I built for him

I just had to post and say that this pc is still running strong the only thing changed out was the 350w psu for a 450w and the old cdrw has been swapped out for a dvdrw.

It's a shame there is no way to get win7 to run with the chipset this mobo uses.

If by chance anyone knows how to get win7 to work please post how.

Yes I got win7 installed, the ati videocard drivers gave me a little bit trouble but I got them working.
It scored a 4 for the cpu, 4.2 for the memory and a 6.9 for the gpu with windows experience index.
