He clearly got the time line borked up. I could argue that the greater point he was trying to make was that the surge enabled the awakening to continue. But I think most here can agree that as fact already.

But comon BD.. Obama has changed nearly every position since Hildabeast grudgingly bowed out. And now he's simply making sh*t up as he goes. You have no idea what Bamma's "position" on any given topic will be from one hour to the next... though you can make easy predictions by who and where he is headed... Panderville. Sure.. McCain's memory aint all that.. but damn.. Bamma's pantelones are gonna burst into flames soon..

In a time when the population is embarrassed by a president who can't speak very well, the Republicans pick a candidate who speaks even worse.

I can't figure it out either.

McCain is a man with an attractive past but a lousy candidate.

Obama is an attractive candidate with a lousy past.

    Pick your poison.

Re: The Republican Race To November

He's needed to say this for months now.

Senator Obama told the American people what he thought you wanted to hear. I told you the truth.

Fortunately, Senator Obama failed, not our military. We rejected the audacity of hopelessness, and we were right. Violence in Iraq fell to such low levels for such a long time that Senator Obama, detecting the success he never believed possible, falsely claimed that he had always predicted it. ... In Iraq, we are no longer on the doorstep of defeat, but on the road to victory.

Senator Obama said this week that even knowing what he knows today that he still would have opposed the surge. In retrospect, given the opportunity to choose between failure and success, he chooses failure. I cannot conceive of a Commander in Chief making that choice.
It'll be fun to watch the messiah try to wiggle out of his numerous policy 180's during the upcoming debates too. The list is extensive and growing. I hope McCain brings up every one.

Do you really want to see the cartoon if McCain picks Romney??? I can see it now...

First panel is Romney dressed like Elmer Fudd armed with a shotgun saying "Be berry berry qwiet...I'm hunting varmints"...

Second panel is McCain flying overhead in his jet... providing air cover for Romney while he's hunting "varmints"....

Third panel is Romney accidentally shooting down McCain when startled by a varmint!!!

McCain has to hold the record for spending the most money on an ugly pair of shoes.

Well, maybe we forget the Amelda Marcos lady...

Good for you John. Obama wants to take lessons from the likes of Jackson and Sharpton you have every right to call him and his lame a$$ excuses out on it. That should be the next campaign ad. Instead of Paris.. compare him to Al & Jessee.

.... and OJ Simpson, Shaq, P diddy, the DC snipers, Farrakhan, Mugabe, oh yea and dont forget Michael Jackson is one of them too... (or at least he was). I am sure that doing that will help with health care, gas prices, job loss, the wars, education. the energy crisis, and the fact that McCain wants to continue GW's wonderful economic policies.

Perhaps you can aim some of your criticism at the guy who actually injected race into the process.. not the guy forced to respond to the racist accusations.

Well ignore the obvious for a few minutes. Trillion dollar question for ya CW. With that surplus... how much did he reduce the National (or Public) Debt by?
