i don't know why so many people have to be so rude by running against dr. paul. he's the coolest politician the world has ever seen, and when the democrats take the white house, nearly everyone is going to wish that they had voted ron paul president for 2 full terms.

It's so stupid how people make stupid excuses for not voting for him, like "oh, well he said 9/11 is our fault," or "he supports hate groups," or "well, he didn't loudly denounce some of his supporters."

It's just incredibly pathetic that people would rather have a really rude, stupid person who's parasitic to most everyone and lies better than they tell the truth (hillary) than dr. paul.

hillary is an embarassment. it's a shame so few people agree with me on that. i'm going to renounce my citizenship, b/c i don't want ANYONE to think that i'm a citizen of nation that elected hillary president. she's just going to pick a fight with iran and cause the world more trouble than she already has. her husband was good at causing worldwide trouble. she'll be just like him.

    Heh. Surprise surprise.

    An Odd Pledge From Obama
Why is Barack Obama boasting that as president, he will "slow the development of future combat systems"?
Are our efforts in the war on terror too advanced and innovative? Is this some sort of inane Little League mercy rule? "Hey, let's let the bad guys catch up in order to make this fair, otherwise it's just not competitive."

    My favorite democratic myths:

    Diebold robbed the Presidency
The USS Halliburton [a secret submarine] blew the levees in NOLA
Nobody[black] voted for Obama in several Harlem spots in NY Primaries
D ick Cheney is really the devil
Bill Clinton never inhaled or had "sexual relations" with "that woman"
Hillary Clinton has 35 years experience that means a rat's ass in politics

[JimZ puts his "Republican pants" back on now that a real candidate
seems to be coming from the Democratic party]
    Not a doofus Hillary.

Re: The Republican Race To November

Again. How many times do I need to suggest candidates simply SHUT UP
about foreign policy stuff. Shame on Hillary and Obama both for peddling this populist protectionist nonsense.

    From instapundit

    http://www.instapundit.com/

OBAMA'S NAFTA DOUBLE-TALK confirmed. "After reporting on Barack Obama’s dance with the Canadians on NAFTA yesterday, Canadian broadcaster CTV got accused of perpetrating a smear against the Democratic front-runner. They insisted that Obama meant every word he said about overturning the free-trade treaty, and that no one had contacted the Canadian diplomatic corps to reassure them that it was mere demagoguery. CTV responded today by naming names — and suddenly the Obama campaign has grown quiet." More here from ABC News.
At least we're learning which bunch of rubes is being fooled. Coming next -- an Obama adviser tells the Iraqi government not to pay attention to his troop-withdrawal talk?

Well my guy is done. I liked him because he stood his ground.
I didn't like his stance regarding illegal immigration and a
couple of other ideas, but he stuck to his guns and held
out until the end. He hardly had any negatives in his
campaign and did what he could to get on. Now regardless
of what happens, 08 to 12 going to be like a Nightmare On
Elm Street far as I'm concerned. >

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/huckabee
IRVING, Texas - Mike Huckabee bowed to reality Tuesday and out of the Republican presidential race. "We kept the faith," he told his end-of-the-road rally Tuesday after John McCain clinched the nomination. "I'd rather lose an election than lose the principles that got me into politics in the first place."

The genial conservative went out as he had campaigned all along, with a quip: "It's time for us to hit the reset button."

Huckabee won the leadoff Iowa caucuses, making him a sudden but short-lived sensation, and then seven other states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia, Louisiana and Kansas. Meantime, McCain piled up big victories on his way to winning the prize on Tuesday night.

The writing was on the wall for weeks, but the former Arkansas governor hung on until McCain secured the necessary delegates.

"We started this effort with very little recognition and virtually no resources," Huckabee told supporters. "We ended with slightly more recognition and very few resources."

The crowd laughed. "But what a journey," he said. "What a journey. A journey of a lifetime."

Huckabee rarely raised a negative word during the campaign about McCain, a man he clearly likes, and he called him Tuesday night to congratulate him.
Boy, I already see another Fed AWB coming sooner than
    later.

Huckabee said he was proud that he and McCain ran a civil campaign. He told supporters in Columbia, S.C., the night he lost there, "Even though I'd like the outcome to be just a little different, I had rather be where I am, and have done it with honor, than to have won with the dishonor of getting there by attacking somebody else."
    Amen !

Well McCain sure has his work cut out for himself now.

I think Rove was correct last night when he suggested McCain simply
spend some time defining who he is for voters while the democratic candidates continue to snipe at one another.

Not that wives matter particularly but I was watching McCain's wife last night during his speech. How can anyone smile like that for 15 minutes.
I was reminded of another perfect "wife"
