I just finished another (belated) update of this thread ...

Congratulations to all who keep on supporting the Folding@Home project and Team 734 by turning out WU's in this very important worldwide project for all world citizens alike.

It 's difficult for a lot of us in these bad Financial and Economical times, but we carry on as best we can in the hope of getting cures and treatments for many sufferers.

F@H already has yielded much more knowledge about what has being researched; we just need more of it.

New F@H software that is coming on-stream will only add to that and that is going to be an exponential gain on what has passed in the previous years !

Just finished the next update.

Congrats to all fellow Folders

Keep abreast of the latest news please, because some changes are afoot and those might give you some more output if everyone implements the changes needed to Fold with the new Cores (f.e. later drivers needed).
Clients version 7 are also in the pipeline, but they won't be for the very near future.
The new Core 15 (GPU2) and GPU3 are closer though !
Those who run Linux SMP also need to watch out for new Cores because those are expected to be compiled with the new GCC4.5 (previously 4.0.x) which will yield much faster code ! (see recent article on Fah-Addict.net)

Those of you who regularly check the Team stats (f.e. at EOC) will have noticed a race for 100,000 PPD and up
even for 1,000,000 point weeks !
Watch our top Folders push eachother's output and that of the Team at the same time
