They will be making an eSATA part. I got this, this morning:

    "Thank you for contacting Thermaltake.

We will have our BlacX N0028USU with eSATA version coming out soon. We just don't have the exact release date yet; please check back on our website for any update information."

I've been waiting for this product... awesome, awesome, awesome... can't wait to get one! More geek for me and no more external exclosures.

I always knew there's something good to come out of it when I registered through this forum years ago for my old Chaintech VNF4 Ultra board.

I am a fodder for free stuff, not that I have won anything much online in years anyway. Maybe my luck will change, who knows!

Just what I was thinking as well. Overall I have more IDE than sata, though that will probibly change with most computers using SATA now. I would personally like if it had a firewire connection as well (400 and maybe 800 as well).

I do alot of drive swapping for faster copying of data would save time from mounting drives in the case. Is cooling an issue after extended use?

Cool guys, keep it coming. That's new to me on the eSATA version - I wouldn't expect it before June or July though based on what I know of product timelines there.

As for the USB hub versoin, I am still trying to get info on that!

Cool device, and a more elegant solution than the Vantec Sata/IDE to USB Adapter I currently use for stray drives.
