    heres a pic of my old clownloach i loved that thing





    his eye is so big because he jumped out of the tank about 10 years ago.. out of the water for about 30 min before we realised it

    but not to be offtopic.. anyone know what this is:



    had to take them back after they got almost a foot long

    That's a Tinfoil Barb.

    I hated to loose fish. I had a Black Arrowana that was over 14 years old when he died. I raised him from having a yolk sac to being around 30" long. My daughter had never not known him, she was really saddened!

    I remember loosing a breeding pair of Blue Discus fish....they were probably worth $2K/month in stock but the real loss was cause I had raised them from little fellas too. Loosing fish is no different than any other pet, man!

    It's a Buttikoferi.

    They are mean bastards. I had one for a while and it terrorized a larger Oscar I had at the time.


    Oops! My bad, Tilapia are Cichlids.
