Ahhh podcast #33. Great way to start the day!
Ryan, I don't see links to the site where you ordered your wife.
Josh, I don't see links to where you ordered your 'girl getting' pills.
Confused by what I'm talking about? Download the podcast and check it out for yourself.

I've been looking for the elusive "Leo Laporte hardware show" for a while now. Luckily, during his "This Week In Tech" netcast, he mentioned the "show with Ryan Shrout", which led me here.
Is the TWiT.tv video hardware show being distributed as an audio-only netcast? I'm never able to watch TWiT.tv, but I would really like to hear the audio during my commute.
Thankfully, I've subscribed to the PC Per netcast, but it would be great to hear the Ryan and Leo show as well. Where can it be found? Thanks.

thank you for the link
First off, good podcast and good website.
After reading your (Ryan) review of the OCZ Vertex SSD I patiently waited for NewEgg availability and purchased one. I have been waiting to use an SSD with my ASUS 1000h for a while. I had a hybrid Samsung disk (256Mbyte flash for ready drive?) installed prior to the SSD. I can't say much for the hybrid disk. So after installing Windows7 on the Vertex SSD on my 1000h I ran some bench marks. I was suprised and dsiappointed because even though I was getting 140M read and 100M write, I wasn't getting 200M read and 140M that my desktop was getting. My desktop has the similar chipset 945.
So, my questions are:
1. Does ASUS/intel not support the full throughput of a SSD? If so why? Is it a power saving option?
2. Do other netbook chipsets (ION) suuport a higher throughput?
3. Is there a tool (Intel Matrix Storage Controller?) than I can use to increase the performance of the chipset?
If you still have the ION mobo can you try some SSD benchmarks. Thanks alot. Keep up the good work!
