    Memtest Help

    Could someone help me make a memtest floppy disk.

    i just gave mine to a friend and just cannot get another disk made.

    I have Memtest34 zip on my desk top and unzipped all the folders and tried to put them on a disk with no luck. The read me has lost me. i never changed names on anything before I just picked a file and put it on a floopy. Please help,

    • Click on the link below. Download - Pre-Compiled package for Floppy (DOS - Win).
    • Save the file to a folder on your desktop or wherever you like.
    • Unzip the memtest86+-2.01.floppy.zip file.
    • Put a blank floppy in the floppy drive.
    • Look in the folder named floppy.
    • Click on install.bat
    • A command window will open.
    • At this prompt "Enter target diskette drive:" type A and hit the Enter key.
    • When you see this "Please insert a formatted diskette into drive A: and press -ENTER- :" hit the Enter key.
    • Congratulations - you're done.

    They also have versions for bootable CDs and USB thumbdrives.
