    Sound on HDTV?

I really don't want to spend much money on a monitor, so I am going to use my 26" Sylvania HDTV as a monitor and use the TV's speakers. Can I combine an audio signal, either from S/PDIF or analog audio, with DVI to get audio through HDMI? What would I use to combine the signal?

If not, then I guess that I will have to use the S-Video to Component dongle that the GPU comes with and convert analog audio to the red and white cables and use components to hook it up.

I don't believe the 7900 has the internal connectors to hook it to your audio. Without that, no audio on the DVI/HDMI cable.

It doesn't internal connectors. I think it was introduced on the 8800.
