Thumbs up Back in the Pond

I'm just dropping by to say "Hi!" and let you know I'm finally adding to my folding pool. I haven't had the time to devote to Folding or this forum for the past couple years but I'm finally getting back into it. I have no intention of regaining the top spot but maybe I can give some of you top ten producers a race Anyway, back to reading this forum to see whay y'all have been up to!

Hi clawhammer! Its good to see some of the old names still here. This is a great team and group of people on this forum. There is no getting around life changes, but its good to see that people tend to come back here and check in.

That it is. I've been spending too much time with my camera and my PC was starting to get lonely I guess it's just Mac envy. I got a Macbook w/C2D 2.16 ghz, and it just about tripled my ppd. April looks to be my best month ever, point-wise.

The hardest thing about comming back is all the changed names... I see people that have been active since 2002 or 2003 and I think, "I should know them... did they change their name?" I wish there was a list somewhere of everyone that's changed their name.

I have to ask- 17 processors active? Are you kidding me? Have you seen how many processors I have folding for a fraction of the points? You have a very efficient and fast farm there, my hats off to you!

LOL we'll see. I still have a lot of procs folding but they are getting old and the farm isn't very efficient. Time to switch everything over to dual quads

Yes, 17 processors, sometimes 18. 12 are Q6600's, very modestly over clocked. And, I'm not nearly as efficient as I could be...no dual SMP clients, affinity changer, etc. If Lessell and Jester keep easing up on my six, I may have to devote a little more time to optimizing my setup. I should be able to break 50k a day easily with what I have.....

Pretty much there is a list of sorts. In the name change request thread at Suggestions Forum.
