There's also an Adopt a Soldier campaign. You'll get the address of a soldier
so you can send Care Packages.

They do the dirtywork. The hard and nasty work.

    And where is the thanks?

Its certainly not at Newark Airport where returning guys are hassled
    and abused.

It certainly wasnt after Nam where returning guys were treated like lepers.

But now? We can find ways to say thanks and appreciate
what these guys do everyday somewhere else as we all enjoy
    the concept of "home"

    IMHO

I'm a vet myself. 10 years in the USAF, half of in it in Vietnam. But that is NOTHING compared to what the front-line combat troops have EARNED the hard way in the history of our country, past and present. My DEEPEST respect, admiration, and thanks go out to ALL of you.

I was incorrect about the airport above. Metro DC riders had recent problems.. Not Newark Airport.
    Apology for offending NJ readers.

    Memorial Day

To all my brothers gone before me, I salute you and your families.

To all still serving, thanks for standing in the gap with me.

To all those who will serve, be strong and be respectful of those who have paved the way for you.

To all those who support those who serve, this country and her fighting force wouldn't be the same without you.

How ever you observe this weekend, a bitter-sweet day for me personally, please keep in mind those who have served from the formation of the United States of America to this very day. Political beliefs need not be mentioned. Just a deep and sincere appreciation of ALL service members, for ALL wars.

    Thanks folks.
