    Linux Port of Alex Kan's v8.0 Science App Release

    I'm still recovering from F@H's SMP client and all the flavors of Linux. I'm not ready for this yet.

    Cool - there's not a lot of difference between the Windows and Linux ports.

    From my testing, going from SSE3 to SSSE3 is worth about 2% and 64-bit is worth about 4-5% over 32-bit. Overall (with 64-bit SSSE3) I'm completing WUs in about 55% of the time of the old optimized SETI app so it's a pretty dramatic speedup
