What have been your opinions on Firefox 3.0 so far?

Not sure if this should go on tech talk, or software, but... whatever!

I know it promises a lot, but... does it deliver?

Perhaps one of the mods could make this into a poll? Something like:

    - Should I migrate to Firefox 3?

Options: 1 -Definitely 2 -Worth a try 3 -Why bother? 4 -No way!!! 5 -What is Firefox? duh!

I had some bugs with 2.0, especially when it comes to quicktime. Firefox 3 seemed to have fixed most of that. Im very happy I upgraded. It was quick and painless and theres no reason not to as far as Im concerned.

I'm using it exclusively now. Does every thing I require of it, but then I have modest needs.

Does it seem better, faster or more reliable than 2.something? Or just about the same?

EDIT: at Mozilla's page, they claim to have solved the memory leak that plagued many of the latest versions, and that due a new programming platform it should feel faster too. Is that so?

EDIT2: I'm not usually the early adopter kind, but I might make this an exception.

    Currently, no extensions installed.
I used to have only two, that's Tigs' Pcper and Stumbleupon, both of which were working fine on my old rig, until I upgraded the mobo and XP decided it was time to give up the guts.
Now I'm mostly limited to my laptop, until I can spare some time to reinstall everything.

I'm curious about the speed as well. Not just starting but loading pages. I recently tried Safari and was surprised how fast it was at loading pages.

One thing I don't like it the way drop down history is displayed. Takes up too much space. Also, I prefer the way bookmarks were shown in FF2.

Three of the most important plug-ins that I need don't work in FF3 so I'm back to the last FF2 version until they get their act together.

Previous Firefox sometimes just become hang in the Task Mangern process.
And there where some memory glitch, that made the computer restart.
Two PC hardware (no OC), same problem.

That's why I started using Opera.

Fx 3.0 semes to be okay so far
