Fujitsu is clearly a better choice since it has core2duo processor. I won't even look at the 2nd one.

    Re: Laptop inquiry

either one would be good inm my own preference i would rather have an amd then intel provided i didnt have the money for a the same perfroming intel as i would with AMD(which is always my case)

then again i love ASUS and everything they make notebooks being no different

1 gb on the first one is plenty seeing how its running linux no p[robnlems there but running vista you may find that a little pressing

can you provided a link to both of these by the way it seems the information you have given us doesnt match up like the GPU

    Re: Laptop inquiry

wow that ASUS is expensive i recently aquired one of about the same performance for $600

just so you know i cant really conmpare these i dont have any hands on with either and there just not enoughinformation really jusat go with what you think will work better

myself i would go with the AMD ATI set up but thats because im a bit loyal to them and i really wanna see both of them do well because even if they arnt as fast they still can perform to my standerds if not much higher then what i expected(such is very true with my current rig)

so just go with what you feel like in realitty that Intl chip may actualy be faster but who knows what type of onboard video it has

really i wouldnt expect much if they wont even advertise it

well it can be used(though maybe not all games will be able to) but just not as far as Nvidia or ATI

    Re: Laptop inquiry

im not very decided in what to choose..i want it faster for some 3d programs and also for some games..im thinking that its 1,9ghz x2 vs. 1,5 x2 -- 2gb ddr2 vs 1gb ddr2 -- 160gbhdd vs 120gbhdd and- atix1200 vs sis mirage 3+
the only thing is that im not convinced about the amd 64x2--lots of ppl say that core 2duo kicks its ass...but im thinking that it would kick his ass if they were both at same frequency..but one its 1,5ghx and one is 1,9ghz.Am i right?

    Re: Laptop inquiry

theres alot of bias even wwith me i lean toward AMD just because I like there products and prices even if there not the best i really could do better for the money i have

and just so you know in 3d apps and games the CPU makes little difference its very Graphics card dependent juatr google it and youl see the diffference in intle and amd is at the most just a few fps

that is relevant to this and for me i would get the AMD but that me even if the AMD had a worse graphucs card then i would still get it because i dont game on laptops(only pc's)

just wiegh your option and makle the desicion either one will deliver at your expectations if not better than
