Not sure why you'd opt for an AMD processor, Intel has been on top a few years now. Price?

The AMD cpu arnt bad just because there not the best doesnt mean they are terrible and yes AMD systems have and will stay some of the best budget systems you can make unless we see some major price cuts on the intel side

anyway i dont feel its a good thing to look down on people just because they pick up an AMD cpu i find it that if we can belnd the market share if not push it towarsds amd we will see more improvements on both sides due to competition

Do you think the Corsair 620watt psu I have would be enough to power that set up?

Even though I have an Inhell system which was a prize any way. I prefer AMD and I am not a Fan-Boy just prefer AMD over Inhell.

Should be OK I think. That 620 is a nice supply.

    I have a 9850, 3870 on a DFI 790fx board running on a 500w antec supply, even games some.

Did you have that MB originally? I missed it, sorry.

Sweet to win a system! I like the superior multitasking abilities of my Quad Q9300 over my amd3400+ setup.

That Corsair 620 wt psu will be more then sufficient to power the new rig I would think, they have some nice power supplies.

You can get the Phenom 9950 for $215 from Newegg until 8-25 with promotion code EMCAJBKBH. I recently built a system with the 9950 and really like it. I used the Asus M3A32-MVP. However I like the idea of the 750 SB. I don't know if was available when I built my system. I am powering my system with the Corsair 620 with no problem. I am using a Radeon 3870.
