I just used a Antec 300 case, its very nice the only problem I see is lack of a 3.5 face plate for the case.

Newegg's combo deals lately have been unbeatable. I just saw one that had a color Xerox laser printer for around $325.00 (a higher end model) and you got a 22" LCD monitor with it for free. All free shipping too!

    Depends how much it OCed,

Equal clockspeeds the phenom would be 10-15% faster gaming roughly.

General use you would love the phenom.

A bunch of new AMD chips announced on Monday - Tuesday along with some more price cuts. 45mn is still a ways off

If you wanted to save money the biostar 790GX (99.00 with free shipping) board is sweet if you don't need a bunch of PCI slots.

my tpower nf750 should handle the 9850 but if it is as you say I might as well hang on till next month before I make up my mind .. still considering intels e8600 and a tpower I45 but AMD does have a advantage price point wise

highly doubt you'd get a 10-15% increase unless your system was very cpu limited in gaming.

the phenom may be 10-15% clock for clock, but that doesn't relate exactly to real world gaming performance. you'll see some improvement, but 10-15% would be an extreme case for sure.
