    Here come the gas lines...

Gas lines/massive price increases in your part of the country, anyone?

Over here in Charlotte we are seeing increases from an average of around $3.65 yesterday up to about $4-4.29. I haven't hit any lines yet but I've heard that some people are in some parts of the country.

    I'm all filled up, though

So far it looks like "IKE" didn't harm the refineries so the scare should subside and hopefully prices drop back down..

Price points should be localized. Crude is stuck at around $102/bbl and not expected to rise. (Been in da oil bidness almost 30 years, btw)

Re: Here come the gas lines...

i filled up at 4.35 yesterday. 71 bucks.

luckily i'm working on a job that's only 6 minutes from my house and should be there well into the winter, i've only had to get gas once ever three weeks or so, and that's getting terrible gas mileage because i'm just driving around town.

now the other guys i work with are all driving 50+ miles one way, they gotta be filling up 2-3 times a week, and that sucks.

It's getting ready to hit PA
A friend of mine from MD, and said that all gas stations in town are out of gas.

I figure prices will jump from $3.49 to $5.00/gallon by tomorrow.

As another election draws near; the G.O.P. are yet again filled with a stupid confidence that the they will win the White House. What they don't realize about people like Trump, Carson, and Cruz is that their rhetoric only resonates within an echo chamber, but not the American people. They live in an illusion of falsehood and distorted truth and only seek information and opinions that confirm these beliefs and instantly reject anything that contradicts them because only their opinions matter. Their notion of freedom is freedom for themselves and those alike to them, but not the rest of the country which has changed.
These are the reasons why the G.O.P is set to lose in 2016. And when that happens, rest assured that they will have myriad of conspiracy theories blaming everyone and everything from the liberal media, to Oprah, to welfare moms, and pretty much everyone but their own disgusting selves.

I just don't get why the hell gas prices here go up. We have our own ports and refineries that are in Montreal! We don't get our f**** gas from the gulf.
