i dont see anything wrong with the build, except

the rosewill PSU....maybe it is good, i dunno..but i never skimp on a PSU...

i have used a few rosewill products and they have been fine...I did use one rosewill psu to replace a failed one for a fiend and it worked ok...at least so far

There are about 4 other threads on this very subject in the Cases And Cooling sub-forum.

corsair has a 550W and 650W models and PC Power & Cooling has 610 Watt Model that should provide more than enough power.

PC Power & Cooling has 610 Watt

Unless you really want to go sli I'd stay away from nvidia chipset.
A good p45 will do better overclock, will be cheaper and wont be running hot (unlike the 750i).

Also if you plan on going sli I wouldnt advise going with some 9800gtx+,
in fact the only dual card config I would advise would be 2x HD4850 in a crossfire mobo anything else is not good bang for the buck but even then I'd go with a 4870 or gtx 260 instead.

good info!!! yea i dont know how to crossfire. I always read about SLI and hwo all you need to do is stick them in and put the SLI connecter on them and then go to ur nvidia panel and enable SLI.

no idea on how to set up crossfire. i guess its time to research!

    this mobo seems goood...

That is a terrific motherboard. I just installed mine about a month ago, and it went flawless.
Basically with the ATI cards, just look for the best warranty, and bundle. They are all built on the same referrence board, some do have different cooling solutions though. Asus is fine, Visiontek has the best warranty, I believe.
I wouldnt go for that Sapphire 3870, however. For the extra $40 or so, the 4850 is leaps and bounds ahead of it.
You can check out the rest of my system for memory, etc.

you know, i was looking at tom's hardware and 2x 4850 crossfired yeilded better gains than the 9800 GTX sli which would run me about 100 bucks more!

    ATI Radeon HD 4850 CF 512 MB = 13931

    NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GTX SLI 512 MB = 12907

hmmmm which one... trying to decide on the one that cools the best since my case is known for heat....

I have a palit hd4850 that looks exactly like the visiontek one and it does run pretty cool but by the look of it so would that saphire card.

Btw since it looks like you are saving some $ on the mobo why not get a good case so there is no overheating for sure
something likes : CM RC-690 (or any other with good airflow)

Palit is just new to America but they are well established in Europe from what I've read.

That case should do fine as long as you have an a fan blowing out of the case with the front intake thats alrdy included
