happened almost as soon as i realized the special packaging on my gamestop pre-order meant it came with a cardboard sleeve over the regular dvd case.

I am a loss. COD4 is a good game, however, I'm not sure if it's worth GOTM again.

Crysis was a pretty refreshing change with it's Nano Suit and dynamic environment. CoD4 was pretty unique with the way each level was a different type of gameplay, not to mention great graphics for little overhead. But both of those were release a long time ago. I agree that new and unique is desirable.

None of the other games in that poll were released THIS month. FC2 has some good features but it's been poorly implemented. Despite the many downsides, I've enjoyed playing it... My vote goes to FC2.

Lol, I picked Crysis Warhead because it was the only game other than FC2 I played this month. It was a fairly fun game, but it was way, way too short. I hope I'm going to be voting for Fallout 3 next month.

I voted COD 4 but that was before my copy of FC2 came. Haven't had much time to play it though. Did D/L COD WAW and it seems fun. Like everyone said though its COD 5. Oh where oh where is a decent FPS with great team play?

Still waiting for the next Battlefield like game. For all it's faults BF2 and BF2142 held most of our attention for a long time.

Crysis was a new concept and was pretty good, however the demand on the GPU and CPU is ridiculous. Struggling to maintain 30 FPS at 1280x1024 res. hurts the game in my opinion.
