    OC'ing CPU to over 3GHZ

    hello, specs are in Sig. currently i have my CPU at stock 2.25GHZ. i have my HT Link set to 800 right now.

    my BIOS Options

    CPU Configuration

    Overclock Mode:
    -CPU,PCIE Sync
    -CPU, PCIE, Async
    -Optimized

    Multiplier/Voltage Change:
    -Auto/Manual

    Memory Clock:
    -200MHZ (DDR2 400)
    -266MHZ (DDR2 533)
    -333MHZ (DRR2 677)
    -400MHZ (DDR2 800)

    CAS Latency:
    -Auto
    -3 CLK 4,5, and 6. there's tons of others like TRCD TRP TRTP, Etc.

    Chipset Configuration

    CPU - NB Link speed
    -Auto 200 400 600 800 1000

    CPU - NB Link Width
    -8 bit 16 bit

    DRAM Voltage
    -Auto/Goes by 5 1.80 to 1.45V

    mGPU Voltage
    -Auto/Goes by 5 1.10-1.45V

    first you find the cpu max clock. bump the vcore when system becomes unstable. later you can adjust your memory and ht to optimal settings and of coarse, test some more.

    raise your htt, watch your temps and have fun.

    a 1m run of this will help spot instability.

    hehe, i already got help from Techpowerup thanks though. CPU OC'ed at 3.2GHZ! Stress testing now. so far no worries
