what do you think will happen in the next 5-10 years with the world as far as the big picture is concerned, that is?


I say, corruption runs rampant until it hinders us all so much that all of society collapses, learns why ethics and morals are important, and restarts.

There will be trouble in the Middle East.

There will be arguments about Global Warming.

There will be political corruption in many different countries.

There will be at least one war somewhere at all times.

Energy will drive global change:
-Middle East will be in turmoil since the current stabilizing forces kept in place by ever diminishing oil reserves (Saudi) will go into decline.
-Australia will become the richest nation, their Uranium will fuel all our new electric vehicles and toys. Their coal will still heat and power much of the less developed parts of the world.
-The EU will be busy regulating the size and shape of imported bananas.

TRUE Socialism will emerge in America, Canada and England

India and Pakistan will possibly nuke each other, the Middle East will change, Africa will again be seen as the mother of the Middle East.

Hillary will be President in 4 years.

I'll give it a go- but with admittedly hopeful thinking:

1. The Arizona Cardinals win the Super Bowl.

2. The world discovers that neither capitalism or socialism are perfect- because people aren't. Economics, government and society are rethought to create a new system- a world order.

1. Obama will take office tomorrow

2. Big bailout that's Bush's fault as always.

4. Pelosi keeps her mouth running like a duck's arse. As will Obama's wife
