^^^ Yeah. That and the fact that you have, give or take, a dozen divisions in deserters from your national army probably roaming around the country looking for "work". I don't think our country would be faring so well with those types of numbers either.

Our assault rifles may be needed for another group of people....

"We say in our platform that we believe that the right to coin money and issue money is a function of government....

Those who are opposed to this proposition tell us that the issue of paper money is a function of the bank and that the government ought to go out of the banking business. I stand with Jefferson rather than with them, and tell them, as he did, that the issue of money is a function of the government and that the banks should go out of the governing business."

    Re: President Obama

I was just informed today that Obama has spent, in 90 days, more money than the last 8 presidencies combined. I don't know if that is true or not, but shocking if it is.

As for the revolution...I don't want to be the one to start it. Unless it is a spontaneous eruption all over the country, anyone who tries to organize such a thing is simply going to be picked off by the FBI, SS, Police, etc.

I will say this - if that ball does start rolling, I won't be sitting in my condo waiting for it to pass by. If this doesn't get resolved politically with elections of officials who actually do the right thing then I definitely see a revolution coming.

I for one, would welcome it. As disastrous as it would be for the time period necessary to re-establish a true democratic republic as envisioned by the founding fathers, it can't be any worse than watching the USA become a socialist state one decision at a time.

It's Come to This [Mark Steyn]

    President Obama apologizes to Europe.
I think I preferred him when he had his butt in the air and was staring at King Abdullah's shoes.
(As George V, rex et imperator 1910-36, said, "Only waiters bow at the waist.")

I watched Obama lay down today in his town hall meeting. This guy acts as if he is running for office in Europe unsurprisingly I suspect he actually is.

Everyone still thinks the sun shines out of Obama's arse over here. You should have seen the European so called 'leaders' fighting to get a photo op with him so they could bask in the reflected glory. Nauseating.

Yes I'm sure he would have walked the Atlantic, but the Secret Service said no.

    Re: President Obama

In France, Obama takes no questions from French

    Joseph Curl POLITICAL THEATER

    Friday, April 3, 2009

President Obama held a much ballyhooed town hall in Strasbourg, France, on Friday, touted by the White House as an outreach to Europeans on the second leg of the president's "listening" tour.

But the first person he called on was an American -- and the third, too. By the end of the hourlong session, not a single French citizen got to ask the U.S. president a question.

In all, Obama took just five questions from the thousands of people packed into a sports arena after delivering a lengthy speech read from a teleprompter. And the query topics were on the light side; one asked about the expected acquisition of a family dog, another about whether "you regret to have run for presidency."
Wow, seems a bit high brow for me.

Bozo Obama the butt kisser of the world.
    He is truly anti-american.
Dr. Seuss for 2011:I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam. I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals. I do not like ex-speaker Nan, I do not like this 'YES WE CAN'..I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart, I know that nothing's free. I do not like their smug replies, when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it. Nope, nope, nope!

Indeed the way he is carrying on about how he is embarrassed of the country he leads is pathetic behavior for an American President.Pretty soon we will be run from strings by the EU puppet master.Pretty soon all our Federal government will be is one big homeowners association with little power to do anything except snitch on its misbehaved citizens to the EU.

The Obama administration is engineering its new bailout initiatives in a way that it believes will allow firms benefiting from the programs to avoid restrictions imposed by Congress, including limits on lavish executive pay, according to government officials.

^^^ Rules are for mortals to follow...

This strategy has so far attracted little scrutiny on Capitol Hill, and even some senior congressional aides dealing with the financial crisis said they were unaware of the administration's efforts. Just two weeks ago, Congress erupted in outrage over bonuses being paid at American International Group, with some lawmakers faulting the administration for failing to do more to safeguard taxpayers' interests.
Lefty(congress) has no idea what righty(the administration) is up to. Would not be so bad if not for the fact I have 0 confidence that either of those entities has a clue WTF it is doing.

"The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us...
Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business."
