Buzzfeed found this amazing video of venture capitalist Paul Holland describing what it was like for Obama Department of Energy adviser Matt Rogers, who was charged with doling out $134 Billion in Green Energy Stimulus Money:



This was at the Earth2Tech’s Green: Net 09 conference venture capital panel, a day after Foundation Capital’s Paul Holland had visited the White House. He was responding to the question, “what is the latest from DC, what were you doing there, and how can we all make some money off of that.” Holland’s description of Matt Rogers as “about to get treated like a hooker dropped into a prison exercise yard” doesn’t exactly sound like a careful, responsible “redistribution” of taxpayer money does it? But hey, it’s not like these Green Energy boondoggles are going into bankruptcy or anything, right? uhm. right?

Emails have been released showing a crony, oops I mean, cozy, relationship between Obama fundraising recipients of energy funds, and Obama officials:

In one email, Steve Westly, an Obama fundraiser whose company received close to a half billion dollars in green energy funds in 2009, cites his ties to senior Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, campaign manager Jim Messina, and secretary of energy Steven Chu.

“Please forgive the delay on this, but the Administration has asked me to co-host events for Valeria[sic] Jarrett (last Thursday) and Jim Messina and Steven Chu (both of which are tomorrow) so things have been a bit busy on this end,” he wrote to an Obama energy official in an email on March 8, 2010.

Unfortunately, the lapdog media is too busy whining about Romney’s tax filings to care about billions of your money being redistributed to Obama donors…

David Axelrod, a senior adviser to the president, said: “This summer will be the most active Recovery Act season yet, with thousands of highly-visible road, bridge, water and other infrastructure projects breaking ground across the country, giving the American people a first-hand look at the Recovery Act in their own backyards and making it crystal clear what the cost would have been of doing nothing.”

Incredible! Spends $831 billion of borrowed taxpayer funds, blows smoke in election about "Accountability" and "Transparency" and then pulls crap like this.

The timing? Yessir the great Porkulus Initiative was a complete and total Train Wreck so now the strategy just before the election is to sweep it under the carpet - just plain act like it never happened. The dumbasses out there won't know or care any different anyway. Sad part of it, for many of his constituents, that's true.
