OMG. It's Ryan the podcast dude! Just wanted to say you and Josh and Jeremy are awesome!

On the topic of F.E.A.R. 2, I don't know if my PC can run it...what are the requirements?

    I have an E8400 @ stock and an HD 4850 512 BTW.

your computer can run it. i have an e8400 also and two 4850's and it runs great.

its a really good demo in my opinion. it really gives an overall idea of what the game will be like.

i was very impressed, had everything cranked like you would believe and it was smoooooth.

the mouse settings seem way to sensitive even at the lowest setting in game, had to set the lowest in game and set my g5 to like 800dpi

just to be sure, the demo does end when the big mech shows up and destroys you right? i assumed that was the end since the previews of the game started after.

game looks great and runs awesome, should be fun, i jumped a few times, and i'm a tough audience when it comes to scares.

    Thanks for the compliment!

I'm sure you'll PC will run it - I am curious to see if the demo is benchmark-worthy as well before the full game is out on the 10/11th.

Re: FEAR 2 demo is here....

Runs flawlessly on my two system spec in sig. I am running Win XP Pro 32b currently on my rig, but will be Vista64 by next weekend. I was doing some self comparisons of the two O/S. XP looks like trash now. Functional, but not pretty.

game looks great and runs awesome, should be fun, i jumped a few times, and i'm a tough audience when it comes to scares
I used to be that way. Wait till your gaming audience is your 8 year old. For me, when my boy is watching, I get scared and startled easy. I think its like Im worried about what he is scared of.

My 6 year old daughter says, "wow, she looks like me!" then giggles and runs off.

    Now Im scared again...

Re: FEAR 2 demo is here....

I liked the Demo, I definately will be this game. Its also ran great on my rig, 1920 x 1200 4xAA 16xAF Evrything on Max, with a solid 60fps with the occasional dip to 55. This demo scared the crap out of me a few times so I imaginge that the game will be packed with wonderfull surprises.

The slo-mo efeect doesnt feel ad good as the first fear. I cant put my finger on it but it just feels dumbed down or something.
