Re: This Will All Be Given Away Free, Shipping Included.!!!!

I could use a replacement for my recently expired Gigabyte P35-DS4, so I'd be interested in anything that supports an Intel Quad Q6600 (The Asus P5B would be a candidate - don't need a HD either).

When you figure out how to distribute them, please add my name to the list if appropriate

Well if Ned would settle for the Gigabyte, or the P5N, since those would support a Q6600, I would take the P5B and stick a Q9550 in it, since thats the only one of the 3 that would support it.

One of the raptors would be nice. And I would not need a Video Card for it.

    Just a suggestion..

I could retire my single core XP-M then

I'm into replacing my 2100+ with something that will do home theater. My current system can't keep up with 720p videos. So from what's left what would be good for that? Hopefully something that supports quad core.

Yes, I guess either of those would fit the bill. I would have preferred an Intel chipset but beggars can't be choosers so I'd happily accept whichever of those doesn't otherwise get spoken up for

I don't know how you are going to figure out who to give what too, but I would like a chance to grab a Motherboard. I have lots of parts what I lack is Motherboards. I have brand new AMD 64 3500+ Venice core that's gathering dust and I already run an X2 4400+ with a GTX 260 Maxcore and I would love to move my 260 to the new board and add another 260 since it's a Dual SLI X16 MB and use the 3500+ to run it since it takes very little CPU power to run GPUGRID and the machine would be a Boinc only box anyway. The 4400+ would still run and now have an open X16 of it's own. I don't have much cash as I am on LTD and have been for over 20 years but I have been waiting and saving, and am currently banging my head against a wall trying to build a whole new system. I was considering a Dual 295 but it was just a bit more that I can afford, but one 295 and one 260 I could do, leaving me with two dual GPU systems. It costs nothing to dream at least. I look forward to seeing what sort of process you come up with no matter what as it sounds difficult task.
