RAM Upgrade for ASUS Eee PC Netbook

    Hello,

I am wondering what type of RAM that 1005HAB-BLU001X (ASUS Eee N270) Netbook takes. It says it can be upgraded to 2GB RAM. However do I add an additional 1GB stick or do I swap out the initial stick and get a 2GB stick. Also what exactly is the type of RAM. If you can find it on newegg or another website, could you post the link?

    Thanks!

The EEEs only have 1 slot. You need to buy a single ddr2 SO-DIMM for 2 GBs and replace the current stick.

Thee EEE only supports up to ddr2-667 speeds. ANything faster will work fine, but will downclock to 667. I use a patriot stick in my 1000h
