California is an example of why socialism and communism doesn’t work. The leaders are always idiots and morons. Tax and spend, tax some more and spend... What could possibly go wrong....

Why is it illegals always seem to survive and others end up on skid row and in homeless camps. Could it be they have more and better opportunities than citizens, government politically correct favoritism...

    Re: Let's talk California

It’s well known there are radical lefties in California that want California to break away from the Union. If by chance that happened would there be a Civil War to preserve the Union. I seriously doubt it most of the country would probably say good riddance. The only solution is half of California for the radical left and illegals the other half for conservatives only. The conservative half of the state would be sparsely populated but they would have 3/4 of the money. The other half would be bankrupt before they got started... hmmm... I like that idea... I want to live in a mansion the Silicon Valley....

Yes it does - and therein lies the problem.

Ultra rich bougiose liberals, living life in a fantasy bubble - gated communities, private security forces, etc. Then they try and superimpose elements of their dream world existence upon the common folks - it doesn’t fit and it diesn’t work.

Anti-gun liberals living life in secure areas with goon squad private security forces - try and knock on Hillary Clinton’s front door or any rich elite. You’ll be met at the perimeter gate by their security team.

He also forgot to mention this little problem that plagues California.

Maybe some of those "millionaires" will chip in and fix it?

^^ But we have a sanctuary state and millions of illegals it’s by far the most politically correct thing to do. And don’t forget the bullet train, windmill farms and gazillions of solar panels all at taxpayer expense... Three cheers ...

California to add recycled sewer water to the state reservoirs

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/07...eservoirs.html

Now they’re trying to poising us. Not treated water sewer water “highly treated” sewer water. I feel so much better now. The Russians like using poison in assassinations why not Moonbeam and the fascist state legislator. The radical left wizards are sooo worried about the Russia when we have Russia in the 51 States. The west coast is fascist communist, states in the Rockies fascist communists and the northeast fascist communist.

Strike the “R” in USSR and replace with a “K” ... USSK ... Union of Soviet Socialist Kalifornia...

^^I won't comment on that specifically, as I don't know the details, but suffice to say most folks have no idea what goes on with the wastewater and water. The vast bulk of wastewater plants discharge to the nearest surface water, and have discharge standards that are pretty stringent. Now they're not completely fool proof, but it's a pretty solid system nationwide. If you're in a part of the country that draws your drinking water from a surface source, there's a pretty good chance that surface source receives wastewater discharge. Biggest nearby example for me is Lake Michigan, but being in the industry I can tell you there are lots of rivers dotted with alternating wastewater treatment plants and drinking water treatment plants. Some wastewater plants do direct reinjection to the water table, so if you're pumping out of the ground guess what, same thing goes on there.

Few are truly toilet to tap, where the water goes through reverse osmosis and disinfection before being sent to the drinking water storage, but we've got at least one here in the States.

    Re: Let's talk California

Most of the Kern River Valley was on Well Water for many, many years but they found out the Well Water was slightly to high in arsenic so they had to convert to Kern River water. The super duper triple osmosis water filtration system quadrupled everybody’s water bill. You can’t drink the water directly out of the river unless you want some killer disease or arsonlc poisoning. The Kern River Valley was a place Gold mining in the earliest years. In those days they used arsenic when they extract gold for rock like quartz. Personally I wish they would of stayed with Well Water. The Well Water tasted like crap the river water is worse at four times the price...
