San Francisco's new mayor confronts city in turmoil amid crime, homelessness, lost business

There ain’t no tourism in Los Angeles and most of Kalifornia’s big cities soon to be the same in San Francisco. Personally I could not imagine visiting any big city for pleasure. I’ll take the good ole High Sierras...

She will "tackle" the problems the same way her predecessors did.. taxes.. appeasement and feel good legislation. I live less than an hour drive from SF.. have only passed thru that sh*thole for the last decade or so. No sense in stopping.. it's not the SF I remember. Unbridled liberalism has had entirely predictable results.

Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business."

Watching liberals talk about ways to "end" homelessness by offering the homeless more options is like watching people toss blood in the ocean and wondering why the sharks keep coming. Children will never fix adult problems.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
