Some thing that I always wondered about the Tricores is if one were running unganged then I would have to believe that 2 of the cores would have to share one of my 2 sticks of ram while one core gets it own stick of ram. ( seeing that running unganged means running the 2 memory controlers independly ) To me that seems unballenced . It would also seems that it would be better either running a phenom as a quad or a dual core . Be interesting if some one could do some testing/benchmarking on this , mabe trying running the cpu as a quad , a tricore, and a dual core with both modes of memory settings , ganged vs unganged and see what if any difference .
