What 140W TDP does not mean is that the CPU will draw 140W. In fact, no matter what we threw at it, we have not been able to even get close to that number, neither before nor after the VRM. Let’s jump ahead of ourselves a bit here.

That is good news IMO too many sites bashing AMD for 140w draw IMO woopie doo 2 75 watt standard light bulbs draw more and too many are focusing on the 140w spec when AMD is putting out a great value as opposed to Intel

Cool Brother,
That's the one thing I wonder about the tpower board. I don't think I told you but I burned my first one up. I'm sticking with my 940's till something new and great come out.
I'm focused on music right now
I bought some new toys to play with:

Seems like a lot of the mobos need (for the ones that don't have it) to have after market VR mosfet cooling with the high wattage guys being oc'ed.

Couldn't resist, just bought the combo at the egg. I actually bought 2 of the 965's. Was going to get the 940 for the backup system, but it was sold out by the time I got around to checking out, debated on the 955 and finally said to heck with it and ordered another 965. I probably need some counselingbut what the heck.
Going to upgrade my 2nd system and retire the A8N32-SLI Deluxe.

Hey, that's what money is for, isn't it? Besides I use plastic, it doesn't cost as much
by the time I get through playing musical motherboards with my cases I will be asking myself why I did all this. At least they are not totally new builds so I will only have to swap MB's and copy boot drives to the new system. I just hope that the M4A79T- Deluxe will boot into the bios with the 965 so I can update. Otherwise I will have to get a bios chip from Asus (I don't look forward to that).

Could & should!I will have to pace my self or I will try to do them all at once and get frustrated.
The big unknown right now is how the 965 will work with the new M4A79T MB as I receive it. I will be able to flash the existing M3A79T with my existing cpu. If I luck out and get bios 902 on the MB I should be alright.
