    Biostar Tforce Ta760G M2+

Okay picked this up to replace the 780 I fried in DreamCatcher v3.5....getting ready to get off my duff and get the darn thing built. Anyone have any experience with this mobo? Slated to receive DC's 8750BE but was wondering if it "in reality" would handle a PII X3 720BE? If so where could I get one for under $100???

Looked up bios updates for this board and the two they have kinda bother me.....the first is "fix" the 95W lockout and the second is to support PII.

So am I looking at have to set up with something else first so as to be able to flash?

as far as i know, it's to keep you from using a cpu over the 95w. aka 940

Okay one more thing.........if someone is able to use a 710 in the 760 "out of the box", is that proc close enough to a 720 to mean that would also work?

Guess the answer will be found out in a little while as there is a 720BE on the way!

BTW the 720BE turned out to be a non-issue!

    Now on to other questions.........

Is there anyone who could tell me where these temp values are coming from other than the obvious core, gpu, and hdd? Ya know like NB, etc.......

Okay ladies and gents alot of water has gone under the bridge since the last entry. http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=468481 & http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=463148

And now the major problem appears to be that after mild and then some "extreme" oc'ing attempts the bios seems to become "slightly corrupt"....

    From my oc'ing thread

I have to kill the psu at its switch to kill the system. When I power up it up it runs through the boot up and runs, but again if I try to restart the system (even after setting the system to default) it will still "hang".

Also another "sign" it is time to re-flash, besides not doing a reboot, is the bios menu would go to black and white as opposed to the stock "colors".......
    So open to suggestions!
